DCO Energy LLC (DCO) is seeking a Project Manager with excellent communications skills for their Project Implementation Team in the Mays Landing, New Jersey Office.

DCO is a vertically-integrated Energy Solutions Company specializing in the development, design-build, operations, maintenance and ownership of facilities that provide electrical and/or thermal energy from Landfill Gas, Biogas, Photo Voltaic, Central Energy and Combined Cycle Heat and Power projects.

The Project Manager is responsible for oversight of the design, construction, startup, commissioning and closeout of multiple DCO Energy efficiency projects. This position is responsible for the contract development, design, bidding/procurement, safety, quality assurance and control, scheduling, budgeting, change management, commissioning,  and administrative aspects of projects.  The Project Manager has primary responsibility for delivering on-time, on-budget projects, achieving exemplary client satisfaction and recommendations, and mitigating key risks to the company. Works with finance/cost accounting and project management team to track project status and financial performance against stated completion and profitability objectives, leveraging DCO information systems (including ProCore). Coordinates with clients and prospects, business development teams, and engineering teams to help ensure that proposals, requests for proposals (RFPs), bid packages and POs/subcontract agreements are developed and managed within applicable company systems, are consistent with expectations for constructability, and comply with applicable federal, state and local programs, laws and regulations.

Minimum Job Requirements

 

Education/Experience

 

• Experience running RFPs, negotiating contracts, and commercial management of EPC vendors through substantial completion and start of commercial operations

• Monitoring and coordinating site construction activities, including startup and commissioning

Management of 3rd party permitting, engineering, and commissioning consultants

• Excels at working with cross-functional teams throughout the entire project lifecycle

• Ability to manage the resolution of engineering and construction-related issues from both a technical and commercial aspect
