Senior MEP Estimator

Senior Mechanical / Electrical / Plumbing Estimator

The Senior MEP Estimator provides detailed estimates for large-scale, complex construction projects based on conceptual information, as well as schematic, design development, and issued for construction documents.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Preparation of conceptual estimates utilizing minimal available information

• Preparation of schematic, design development, and construction estimates based on appropriate documentation

• Performing Mechanical / Electrical/ & Plumbing takeoffs

• Preparation of Basis of Estimates for all levels of estimate

• Preparation of Bid Packages

• Reviewing and leveling incoming bids

• Preparing, reviewing & submitting bid RFIs

• Leading Descope Discussions with Qualified Bidders

• Preparing Scopes of Work for Subcontracts & Purchase Orders

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10 years of estimating experience with significant conceptual estimating experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Equivalent MEP estimating experience

• Proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Excel, and commonly used office software

• Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Salary based off experience and starting at $120,000.
